Privacy and anti-spam policy
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Orbit Search Ltd ("Orbit", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to responsible, relevant and lawful business communications. We do not support indiscriminate bulk email, deceptive messaging, phishing, malware distribution or other abusive electronic communication.
Our approach to email communication
We may contact businesses and professional individuals where we reasonably believe our recruitment, executive search or talent-related services are relevant to their role, organisation or current hiring activity. Business contact information may be obtained from publicly available professional sources, company websites, professional networking platforms, existing business relationships and reputable business data providers.
We aim to ensure that communications are targeted, relevant and sent for a legitimate business purpose. We do not intentionally send mass, untargeted email campaigns to unrelated recipients.
What we consider spam
We consider spam to include unsolicited electronic communications that are indiscriminate, misleading, fraudulent, excessive or unrelated to the recipient. Orbit does not knowingly send messages containing deceptive subject lines, misleading sender information, malicious attachments, phishing content or software designed to compromise a recipient's systems or privacy.
Identification
Emails sent by Orbit are intended to clearly identify the individual sender and the organisation they represent. We do not intentionally disguise the identity of the sender or use misleading routing, domain or contact information.
Opting out
Recipients may ask us at any time to stop contacting them. Where a recipient requests not to receive further business development or recruitment communications, we will take reasonable steps to honour that request and may retain limited information on a suppression list solely to help ensure that the individual is not contacted again for the same purpose. Recipients do not need to provide a reason for opting out.
Frequency, relevance and accuracy
We aim to keep the frequency of our communications reasonable and proportionate. We take reasonable steps to maintain accurate business contact information and to avoid sending communications to invalid, inappropriate or unrelated addresses. Where we become aware that an address is invalid or should not be contacted, we may remove or suppress it from future campaigns.
Service providers
Orbit may use reputable email, CRM, recruitment, data and sales-engagement service providers to assist with business communications. We expect service providers acting on our behalf to operate in accordance with applicable law, contractual obligations and acceptable-use requirements.
Compliance and domain abuse
Our electronic communications are intended to comply with applicable data protection, privacy, marketing and anti-spam requirements in the jurisdictions in which we operate. Orbit does not permit its domains, email accounts or infrastructure to be used for phishing, malware distribution, fraudulent communication, impersonation or other abusive activity.
